ASTRAKHAN TO HOST CONFERENCE ON CASPIAN`s CLIMATE AND WATER BALANCE

Baku, March 19 (AzerTAc). The Russian city of Astrakhan will host an international conference on “Changes in climate and water balance in the Caspian region” in October. The decision to convene the conference was adopted at a last year session of the Coordinating Committee on Hydrometeorology and Pollution Monitoring of the Caspian Sea, CASPCOM, which was held in Tehran, Iran. The conference will bring together delegates from Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran.
